At Fancy Clarity, we create beautifully crafted, made-to-order jewellery designed to celebrate life’s meaningful moments. To ensure a clear and confident shopping experience, we offer a 30-day exchange and return window, subject to the terms below.
30-Day Exchange & Return Window
Customers may request an exchange or return within 30 calendar days from delivery, subject to the following conditions:
• Exchanges for a different size or style may be requested within this period;
• Full refunds are limited to verified manufacturing defects.
• Returns not related to quality issues are eligible for partial refunds only, subject to a 30% restocking fee.
To qualify for a quality-related claim, customers may be required to provide supporting photo or video evidence.
Non-Quality Conditions (Not Eligible for Full Refunds)
For clarity, the following conditions are classified as non-manufacturing issues and are not considered defects. As such, they do not qualify for a full refund under our policy.
• Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, fading, discoloration, or surface abrasion.
• Damage caused by chemicals, cosmetics, moisture, environmental exposure, or improper care.
• Natural metal wear over time (including thinning, deformation, or prong wear).
• Prongs loosening, bending, or wearing down due to daily use or external force.
• Loss of stones resulting from wear, impact, or lack of maintenance.
• Damage caused by accidental impact, misuse, or improper storage.
By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these conditions and understands that routine maintenance is part of normal jewellery ownership.
Returns After 30 Days
Refund requests submitted after 30 days from delivery are not accepted, except where required under applicable law.
If your item develops an issue, all claims will be subject to assessment to determine the nature and cause of the issue. The determination of whether an issue constitutes a manufacturing defect is made at our sole discretion following assessment.
Where a significant issue is identified, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund. If the issue does not constitute a significant issue, we reserve the right to repair or replace the item within a reasonable timeframe.
For issues not related to manufacturing defects, including normal wear and tear, we offer paid repair or restoration services, with all associated costs borne by the customer.
Where a verified manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will provide complimentary repair in accordance with our Warranty Policy. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with sending the item to us and its return.
Return & Exchange Conditions
All returned items must:
• Be unworn and in original condition
• Include all original tags and packaging
Items that do not meet these requirements may be rejected or subject to additional fees.
How to Request an Exchange or Return

• Return instructions will be provided via email.
• Customers must provide a valid tracking number once the item is shipped.
• All items are subject to inspection upon receipt.
Approved exchanges or refunds will be processed accordingly. Refunds are typically processed within 7 business days; however, the exact time for the funds to be credited may vary depending on your payment provider or bank, and is outside of our control.
Fees & Processing
Exchanges
As all pieces are made to order, exchanges fall into two categories based on whether the original item can be modified directly or requires a complete remake:
1. Modification-Based Exchanges (Using Original Item)
This applies when the original item can be adjusted or upgraded, such as changing the stone, metal colour, or minor design details.
• The original item will be used and modified where possible.
• AAdditional production fees and price differences will apply depending on the requested changes.
2. Exchanges Requiring a Newly Crafted Piece
This applies when the original item cannot be modified and a completely new piece must be produced.
• A new item will be crafted based on the requested changes.
• The original item will be treated as a return and subject to a 30% restocking fee to cover production and material costs.
Returns (Non-Quality Related)
• Subject to a 30% restocking fee
• Fee covers design, materials, and labour costs
• Not eligible for full refunds
Additional Fees
• Shipping, duties, and taxes are the customer’s responsibility.
• Bracelet returns (non-quality): 40% restocking fee.
• Engraving removal/re-engraving: $40 AUD.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
• Custom-made or personalised designs
• Resized or modified items
• Incorrect size provided by the customer
• Items showing signs of wear, misuse, or alteration
• Items already exchanged
• Comparison purchases (buying multiple items to return some)
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation Fee
For standard made-to-order items:

If you wish to cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase, a 10% cancellation fee will be applied to your refund.

If you cancel your order after 24 hours, a cancellation fee will be applied based on the material of the item:

15% cancellation fee for silver jewelry

25% cancellation fee for gold and platinum jewelry (including 9K, 10K, 14K, 18K, etc.)
These fees include CAD design charges, material usage, and production preparation costs.
For custom orders: -
- Once the CAD design is approved, cancellations are not allowed. A 25% fee will be charged if you cancel the order before CAD approval.
Resizing Policy:
One complimentary resize is available within 30 days of receipt, subject to design feasibility and limited to a maximum of two sizes up or down. For reference, two sizes typically refer to a range such as from J (US 4.75) to K (US 5.25). After this period, resizing will incur a fee starting at $50 AUD.
Please note:

Rings can only be resized within two sizes. Any request beyond this range will require a complete remake of the ring.

Some styles require customer service approval to determine whether resizing is possible on the original ring. If resizing is not feasible, we may need to:

Disassemble the current ring

Add extra gold or silver

Remake the ring in the correct size

Apply a handcrafting fee and material price adjustment based on the design and size change

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs related to resizing.

Lifetime Warranty:
All jewellery purchased from Fancy Clarity is warranted to be free from manufacturing defects at the time of delivery. Any issues arising after delivery will be assessed to determine whether they are due to manufacturing defects or normal wear and use. Each piece is inspected prior to dispatch, and a product preview video is provided for customer review.
Our Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty applies to verified manufacturing defects only. It does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, improper care, external damage, stone loss, or unauthorized repairs.
Complimentary maintenance services may be offered but are preventative in nature and do not indicate that wear or damage is considered a defect.

Free Shipping (Australia): Complimentary shipping is provided for all orders within Australia. International orders may incur additional shipping fees, which will be calculated at checkout.
Delivery Timeframes:
All delivery timeframes provided are estimates only and are based on standard transit times offered by our shipping couriers. Actual delivery times are determined by the courier and may vary due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to customs clearance, weather conditions, remote delivery locations, or peak shipping periods.• Domestic Orders (Australia): Estimated delivery is typically 2–5 business days after dispatch, subject to courier performance.
• International Orders: Estimated delivery is typically 5–7 business days after dispatch, subject to courier performance and customs processing.Import Duties and Taxes:
For international shipments, import duties, taxes, or customs fees may be imposed by the destination country upon arrival. All such charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price or shipping fee.
Engraving Services:
We offer complimentary engraving for all engagement and ceremonial rings during the crafting phase. If you wish to add engraving after your ring is completed, a fee starting at $20 will apply, depending on the number of characters.
If you need to modify the engraving after it’s done, a $100 fee will be charged.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to our Return, Exchange, and Warranty Policies, including all applicable conditions, fees, and limitations. You also acknowledge the distinction between manufacturing defects and normal wear or use-related conditions.
